LOCAL RULES
OUT OF BOUNDS
a) Over any course boundary fence.
b) On or over the road at the left of the 9th / 18th fairways.
c) On or over the line to the left of the 1st / 10th, 3rd / 12th, 4th / 13th & 9th / 18th holes.
d) The car park at the Clubhouse, the buggy & trolley bay area, the pathway between the Clubhouse and the practise putting green.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS : Rule 16 – 1 applies
a) E.S.B pylons (except pylons within spinneys).
b) Distance markers.
c) All fixed sprinkler heads.
d) Fixed course signage and seats.
MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS : Rule 15 – 2 applies
Vertical distance markers.
BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.
E.S.B WIRES
A ball striking an E.S.B wire must be replayed without penalty.
GROUND UNDER REPAIR :
The following may be treated as GUR – a sheep path, horse hoof mark, hole caused by burrowing animal, ploughed gallop, gravel pathway, any area encircled by a white line, roadway or tractor wheel mark. (This rule does not apply in a hazard).
PLUGGED BALL : Rule 16 – 3
A ball lying in its own impression, may be dropped, to the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, without penalty.
CONTINUOUS PLAY
Players playing to 10th holes should be given alternate access by players commencing a round.
